Bursary and Scholarship Funds Gifts may be directed to any of the following funds: General Bursary Fund This fund is to assist those students who are not fully supported, or funded by a named or corporate bursary. General Bursary - Funded This fund designation is for support directed toward specific students or for corporate or foundation donations distributed annually in the company's name. Corporate or foundation bursaries are fully funded. Named Bursaries Most of our named bursary funds list need as the primary requirement, though some funds will have more specific requirements. Archdiocese of Regina Endowed
Blue Family Bursary Gifts given for any capital project are directed to a restricted fund for the project. Endowed gifts for a program or project would also be directed to a restricted fund. Some program examples are provided below. Gifts may be directed to any program. Some examples: Arts Choral, Drama, Music, Visual Arts Academics Chemistry, Christian Ethics, Creative Writing, History, Language Arts, Math, Physics, Science, Social Science Athletics Boys or Girls Off-Ice Sports, Boys or Girls Hockey, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Cross-Country, Football, Golf, Rugby, Soccer, Track and Field, Volleyball Activities Choral/Drama Productions, Hounds for Humanity, Works of Mercy, The Notre Dame Canadians - show choir, Outdoor Education Costs for extracurricular activities are above tuition. A gift could sponsor a student who could not otherwise afford the trip, the costs for staff supervision, or travel to or from a destination. Each year, the group travels to the Alberta Rockies for a mountain fall climb/hike, and winter ice climbing, and to northern Saskatchewan for winter camping/dog-sledding, and summer camping/canoeing on the Churchill River. Last summer the Outdoor Education Club traveled to Peru. |
