Mo Bundon 73, ND's Chairman of the Board, was honored by the Canadian Red Cross for the amazing contributions he's made to his community. A few Hounds were there to celebrate Mo's Red Cross Humanitarian Award. Mo is 6th from the right.

With 5 practices under their belt the Sr Football team opened their season at the University of Regina field. Coach Doug Branchflower '83 with the boys during warm up.

The boys were very excited to see the entire student body attend the game to cheer them on.

The boys played a tough, hard nosed game. They lost the game to O'Neil but they were definitely in the game. A few more practices will definitely help.

No matter about the scoreboard!! Our Hounds were LOUD & PROUD in the stands.

As you may have already gathered.........WE LOVE TO DRESS UP!! The Hounds take great care in choosing just the right look for the red & white games we have ALL year long!!

It was a beautiful Saskatchewan evening and the majority of our staff attended the game in Regina. Also in attendance were our 'future Hounds - aka staff kids" but they had their own football game going on behind the bleachers!!

Our SJHL Jr A Hounds were also in attendance on Friday night...............GREAT RED & WHITE OUTFITS HOUNDS!!

Our Jr A Hounds & students travelled with staff member Dave Pollon '88 to help Hound Wayne Shaw '57 unload 50,000 books!! Wayne, a Hound & former Saskatchewan Roughrider is closing down his bookstore in Saskatoon and is selling his stock.

Wayne is Notre Dame, Saskatchewan & CFL legend. He is not only our Wall of Fame but the Sask Sports Hall of Fame. Hound alumnus, former ND President & current Board of Regents member Terry Cooney '71 helps Wayne organize the books.

The Jr A Hounds didn't have to hit the weight room on this day!! The boys were thrilled to meet a Notre Dame & Saskatchewan legend like Wayne Shaw!! They unloaded 50,000 books!

Our younger Hounds and the Jr A Hounds bring boxes & boxes of books into the Golden Mile Mall in Regina. Wayne has offered to donate half of his proceeds to Notre Dame College. God Bless Wayne.

After a hot & sweaty hard afternoon of lifing it's off to Nicky's Cafe for a GREAT meal! Thanks to Nicky for treating our Hounds like Kings & Queens! Nicky's daughter is a grade 10 Hound. To all the Hounds involved...young & old.......God Bless!

Saturday night was the first dance of the school year. The Rodeo dance was a country theme. Gr 12's Matt & Meagan ham it up for the camera!!

The outdoor dance was awesome.............the weather was perfect & Keenan did an awesome job of the music.

September 8th the Notre Dame family gathered in St. Augustine's Church to celebrate our opening school Mass. Father Ramon Claro served Mass for the Feast Day of the Nativity of Mary.

The morning's reading was from the phophet Micah as read by our own grade 12 Hound Micah.

Father Ramon blessed the entire Notre Dame family at the beginning of Mass.

This past long weekend our grade 12 class travelled to Camp Monahan for the annual camping trip. The Hounds had a blast.........here they are working in team cooperative games.

Faculty member Darren Beaulac does an amazing job of organizing ND's Outdoor Education program. The grade 12's would like to thank Darren & all the staff that attended for an amazing weekend.

Camp Monahan has a kitchen so the Hounds do their own cooking and dishes!! Looks like it took a while to get those dishes done!! :)

One of the highlights of the weekend is the iPod singing around the campfire. As usual our Hounds plan, practice and DRESS UP!! HILARIOUS!!

Our Bantam Football team opened their season on Tuesday evening. The boys dropped their first game but with only 5 practices under their belts they are confident they will improve.

Our Girls Soccer opened their season on Wednesday afternoon...............action pictures will be later today.

Our 5 year Hounds with President Palmarin & Principal Lockwood atTerry O'Malley's Robe Ceremony. The Hounds witnessed Terry swear in Canada's newest citizens. Such an honor for these Hounds that were in gr 8 when Terry was President of ND.

Judge O'Malley is sworn in as Canada's newest Citizenship Judge in Regina, Saskatchewan on September 9th.

Our 5 year Hounds were thrilled to see their mentor Terry O'Malley sworn in as a Citizenship Judge.

Our Sr Soccer Girls opened their season on Wednesday afternoon. Multimedia Club member & soccer athlete Olivia Mason brought back some awesome pictures.
